Part-Time Lecturer for CS4018 SPECIALISED JOURNALISM: BUSINESS & ECONOMICS

We are looking for a part-time lecturer to teach Business Journalism at the Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information. The undergraduate module focuses on the general business environment and learning how to report and write about it. It will specifically cover core topics of business reporting such as economics, foreign exchange, stocks, companies, financial statements, fixed income and mergers & acquisitions.

The lecturer should have good industry experience and knowledge of the topics covered in the course. The course format consists of a total of 52 hours of instruction that includes lectures, in-class activities and seminar discussions. The lecturer will be responsible for syllabus planning, class preparation, marking for assessment and student consultation.

**Requirements**:

- Master’s degree or a bachelor’s degree with industry experience in Business Journalism / Economics
- Background in communication, business, economics, or a related discipline is preferred.
