About this Position:
We are looking for a seasoned Partner Development Manager who is passionate about building new partnerships and launching new capabilities with key partners across the Asia South Region.
Your core focus is to identify, recruit and develop partners that are closely aligned to the Riverbed Alluvio go-to-market, focused on monitoring, visibility and observability, whilst supporting and developing existing partners aligned to the Riverbed Acceleration portfolio.
This role includes developing channel strategies, forecasting our partnership pipeline, managing the relationships with partner ecosystem and being the face of Riverbed to potential & current partners in the region.
**In this role, you will**:
- Manage the complete lifecycle of channel partners - Identify, recruit, on-board and enable the Riverbed channel across Asia South.
- Support sales activities of partners to generate revenue.
- Coordinate with channel partners to create and execute business plans to meet sales goals.
- Analyse market trends and accordingly develop channel plans to support the economic capacity for Riverbed business across the Asia South Region
- Evaluate partner sales performance and recommend improvements.
- Educate partners on our product portfolio and complementary services offered.
- Interact with partners to cover issues, sales conflicts and pricing issues in a timely manner.
- Manage sales pipeline, forecast monthly sales and identify new business opportunities.
- Develop positive working relationship with partners to build business.
- Communicate up-to-date information about new products and enhancements to partners.
- Work with partners to develop new solution and services offerings across Consulting, Professional Services, Managed and Embedded Services.
- Deliver presentations and attend sales meetings and partner conferences.
- Assist in partner marketing activities such as tradeshows, campaigns and other promotional activities.
**To help us level up, you'll need to bring**:
- Previous experience managing and developing partner relationships across Asia South, ideally within the same product category and channel.
- Experience interacting and supporting global system integrators a plus.
- Experience supporting sales activities via channel partnerships.
- Experience managing partner relationships that are based on developing and delivering service offerings tied to vendor product.
- 5+ years of experience with B2B sales
- 10+ years selling high technology products in a channel model.
- Effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to build strong relationships with partners and Riverbed teams.
- Strong personal network within the industry.
- Driven, initiative-taking and results driven.
