Working in Firefly means you outgoing and passionate photographer who is experienced in the technical aspects of the craft itself, as well as in the customer service field to join our small team of photographers and videographers. The focus of the photographer is to photograph and create visually compelling work for our esteemed clients that we are deeply grateful for, this includes weddings, events, and portraitures with big brands and government entities such as Changi Airport Group, SAF, CAAS, Sports Singapore, Singapore Management University, National Day Parade and many more.
As an event and portrait photographer in an ever-changing and progressing industry, you will be outbound to different venues and locations to cover events, weddings, conferences and even for commercial shoots or portraitures. You will engage directly with the customers or their representatives and help facilitate the process of the photography and deliverables. This is an opportunity to grow, learn and hone your craft to its finest, and develop soft skills and connections that will propel and place yourself in the creative and any industry with an impeccable position.
Working closely with the senior account manager and a small and close-knit team of 6-8 people, we will learn skills and provide value to each other, and access to training, processes, tools, and equipment to support success in this role.

**Your Primary Task Includes**:
- Being Outgoing, Outspoken andOuter space.
- Communicate effectively and provide an outstanding customer service experience that leaves customers dreaming and smiling after they had a photography session with you.
- Working closely and communicating effectively with team members and clients to understand requirements.
- Going on-site to various locations to photograph various types of events and portraitures, adhere to client requirements and flex your creativity.
- Setup and teardown photography lighting setups at project sites.
- Photo Editing, learning and doing colour grading, accentuating the visual elements in the images, digitally manipulating, enhancing or colour correct.
- The working environment is primarily at various locations, however, on weekdays, you are to be based in the studio if there are no off-site assignments, after some time you can have flexible work arrangements once you are familiar with the work and equipment.
- Work independently and forge good relationships on the ground with the client representatives and team members.
- Lead Photography Projects with team members.
- Attending site recces, briefs, and meetings for upcoming assignments if applicable.
- Advice on client representative on best advice on the ground if needed to ensure the photographic requirement is met, such as award ceremonies on where to stand to capture backdrop etc.
- Be attentive and diligent in the storage and editing of various assignments, projects and images, and good discipline in file management tasks
- Being open to learning new skills, software, equipment and other basic administrative tasks such as invoicing.
**Requirements**:
- Professional Certificate/Ni-Tech, Diploma in Visual Communication or any field.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience, the experience can be freelancing.
- Minimum 1 year of Customer service experience is a must (Can be from part-time jobs or other previous jobs)
- Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.
- Having your own workstation is a plus.
(We have a studio computer for you, we also allow WFH on days that the studio is closed for customers, you do not have to come to the studio on those days, you will still need to process the photos)
- Familiar with Canon Equipment is also a plus.
- Able to provide suggestions and take feedback constructively.
- Proficient in using digital resources such as YouTube independently to learn specific functions and Pinterest to get ideas.
- Understanding how to shoot effectively using DSLR/Mirrorless Camera, flashes and possess the necessary technical knowledge for the camera system, lenses, photography, and digital imaging.
- Prepared to work irregular hours, weekends, and public holidays.
- Good command of Spoken and Written English.
