Audio Technician

**Job Descriptions**
- Preparing and maintaining technical sound monitoring equipment, like microphones, speakers or amplifiers and soundboards
- Identifying issues in audio signal chains and rectifying them
- Performing regular maintenance tests on audio equipment
- Recording live music and monitoring output sound levels during performances
- Keeping abreast of up-to-date recording and audio technology and processes
- Maintaining or repairing faulty equipment
- Performing sound checks to ensure peak sound quality in advance of live performances
- Taking part in the editing process of production to synchronise audio and visual effects
- Balancing and mixing audio levels to align with dialogue, music or other sounds

**Requirements**:

- Certificate in a field related to sound technologies.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an audio management role.
- Advanced knowledge of sound and recording equipment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.

**Salary**: $2,500.00 - $3,500.00 per month
