The role of the Dental Assistant is to support the dental team by providing the patient with high-quality care by performing a variety of office, laboratory, and patient care **duties**. This usually entails helping the **dentist** handle patients, instruments, and supplies during the treatment of the teeth, mouth, and gums.

You will help with preparing patients, sterilizing instruments, setting up rooms, and some dental hygiene tasks.

**You are expected to**:

- Assist the dentist in procedures
- Ensure sterilization and disinfection of the dental room and premises
- Be willing to learn
- Preparing the treatment room and assisting the dentist during treatment
- Maintaining clinic equipment, instruments and materials in good order
- Having a good standard of infection control
- Performing basic dental laboratory works
- Carrying out reception duties such as patient registration, taking and making telephone calls, making patient appointments, billing and invoicing matters
- Ensure patient comfort at all times
- Must be a RESPONSIBLE Team Player and willing to accept constructive feedback
- Pleasant personality, courteous, caring and attentive to patients and customers
- Expected to work overtime at times
- Handle disinfection and sterilization of equipment and instruments
- Handle incoming telephone calls and schedule patient appointments
- Handle patient enquiries, patients enquiries and billings to patients
- Handle patient follow-ups and update patient records
- Monitor and maintain inventory of instruments and dental material supplies

**Requirements**:

- Experience in Dental Assisting is a big plus but not mandatory.
- Mature, positive attitude, team player & cheerful personality.
- Applicants must be willing to work in Suntec City/Marina Square area
- Relevant working experience in the dental industry is an added advantage Eg. Nitec or any equivalent.
- Basic knowledge in using computers
- **Only Singaporeans/Long-Term Visit Pass Holders need to apply**

**Working Hours**:

- 5.5 - 6 days a week
- Retail Hours (10am - 7pm)

**Attractive remuneration, yearly increments and benefits. Incentives and bonuses on good performance**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $2,200.00 - $3,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
