**Report to**:General Manager
**Salary Range**:$3800 - $4800
**Min Qualifications / Experience:
Diploma/Degree holder with 7-10 years of relevant experience
**Job Skills Required**:
Purchasing skills and well-versed with materials specifications
**Responsible for/authorised to**:
a) Responsible for the efficient management of Procurement Department and ensure all purchases are made at the best price and terms with the required quality.
b) Supervise a team of purchasing personnel.
c) Procurement planning and controls to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
d) Review outstanding orders fortnightly.
e) Maintain a list of approved reliable vendors and subcontractors and evaluate their performance periodically.
f) To set up and maintain the catalogue library and price records.
g) Ensure proper control, issue and implementation of Procurement procedures.
h) Check all Purchase Orders worksheets before issuance of official Purchase Order.
i) Verify and approve Purchase Order before joint submission to General Manager for approval.
j) To arrange for sub-contracting and purchasing committee with the relevant department representatives to evaluate and select contractors and suppliers.
k) Maintain and update price records for quotations for tender purpose.
l) Monitor and update overseas materials status.
m) Broaden the supplier base and continuous qualification / auditing of new sources of vendors and subcontractors.
n) Any adhoc assignments given by General Manager.
