As a Vegoil Oil Trader, you will be commercially responsible for executing trades across derivative platforms, paper markets, and physical markets. Your primary objective will be to maximize trading profits by developing effective trading strategies, managing risk exposure, and maintaining strong client relationships. You will play a pivotal role in the Palm oil trading book within the global vegoil team, assuming full PnL responsibility. Additionally, you will contribute to maintaining and expanding the destination book for Soybean oil, primarily focusing on the APAC region.

**Key responsibilities and deliverables**:
Execute palm oil trades in derivatives, paper markets, and physical flow, ensuring timely and accurate execution in alignment with trading strategies and market conditions.
Conduct comprehensive market analysis, monitor market trends, and identify trading opportunities based on supply and demand dynamics and geopolitical factors affecting the vegoil market.
Develop and implement effective trading strategies to optimize profitability and mitigate risk, taking into account market conditions, trading arbitrages, freight costs, and other relevant factors.
Monitor and manage trading positions, exposure, and associated risks, utilizing risk management tools and techniques to protect the company's interests and optimize trading performance.
Build and nurture strong relationships with counterparties and brokers in the palm oil and soybean oil market, fostering collaboration, trade execution, and information sharing.
Ensure accurate and timely documentation of trades, contracts, and related paperwork in compliance with internal policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
Collaborate closely with other teams, including logistics, operations, finance, risk and compliance, to ensure seamless end-to-end trade execution and operational efficiency.

**What does it take to be successful in this role**:
Minimum 8 years of relevant Grains & Oilseeds trading experience
Degree in Business / Economics or equivalent

Good command of English
Proficient in MS Office tools
Good computer literacy
Articulate communicator
Knowledge of the requirements as set by the ISCC and/or GMP+FSA certification schemes if required
