Hardware System Verification Intern

This role has been designated as ‘Edge’, which means you will primarily work outside of an HPE office.

As a Hardware System Verification Intern, you will enjoy being part of a global community of top engineers, who are at the heart of the company’s innovative technology infrastructure products. You will have the opportunity to work on next generation hardware for high-end Ethernet switching systems, taking part in develop and execute test methodology to evaluate and qualify Ethernet Physical Layer devices such as Optical Transceivers and Active Optical Cables with Aruba switches

In a typical day as a Hardware System Verification intern, you would
- Work on small independent engineering projects
- Validate portions of engineering implementations for prototypes and Ethernet switch systems based on established engineering principles.
- Implement established test plans to verify requirement compliance
- Support investigations, analysis of engineering issues and solutions
- Prepare reports and write technical documentation

If you are
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Physics
- Good grasp of engineering fundamentals
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient with a scripting language such as Python
- Passion for technology
- Eager, quick learner with strong team-work spirit
