We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance & Quality Control Manager to control and oversee strategies, policies, objective, and standard to ensure high quality process at processors’ factories to produce Natural Rubber to meet the specification.
- Define departmental KPI and monitor progress on action item set.
- Work closely with material department, production and supplies to set specification and improvement on the material quality.
- Supplier management to ensure quality conformance and continuous improvement on supplier’s process and product.
- Improved business continuality plan by identifying new potential suppliers for approval.
- Define, manage and monitor Supplier Performance Metrics and their compliance.
- Prepare annual audit schedule based on customer request and priority audit based on risk approach.
- Auditing included supplier process audit and IATF16949/VDA 6.3.
- Educated and support suppliers for continuous improvement of their process and product quality to meet company requirement.
- Work collaboratively, globally, with supplier for deep dive root cause investigations, corrective and preventive actions to ensure no recurrence of related quality issues.
- Investigates technical problems, develops methodologies, and performs experiments to find and recommend solutions.
- Conducts research on currently raw material and process for continuous improvements.
- Initiates research work for understanding of raw materials composition/structures - property relationships and leads material development project.

**Job Requirements**:

- Recognized Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical/Engineering/Science/Quality Equivalent studies.
- At least 5years of equivalent professional experience in the rubber industry with emphasis on quality control testing and chemical laboratory experience.
- Specialize in natural rubber with lab knowledge and rubber compounding.
- Must be a “hands-on” chemist to work in the lab as well as quality assurance for supplier management.
- Familiar with rheometer, viscometer, GCMS and utilizing standard laboratory equipment.
- Proven practical expertise in rubber and compound analyses, including relevant sample preparations and analytical workflows.
- Business Japanese Language Proficiency is preferred for reporting and presentation to Holding Company which will be conducted in Japanese.
- Demonstrable experience in developing strategic quality plan & objective.
- Knowledge of market changes and forces that influence the Company.
- Resilient and committed, ability to plan, prioritize and work under pressure.
- Able to travel globally to suppliers site.
