**AWS Platform Lead**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Own and manage the AWS account onboarding process from intake to production readiness.
- Oversee account creation via AWS Control Tower; enforce baseline controls (GuardDuty, Security Hub, IAM Identity Center, CloudTrail) using Infrastructure as Code.
- Ensure network connectivity (VPC, Transit Gateway) and security restrictions are applied correctly.
- Validate compliance with CIS benchmarks and AWS Foundational Security Best Practices before handover.
- Act as primary point of contact for onboarding queries; provide updates and maintain documentation.
- Drive continuous improvements, automation, and efficiency in onboarding workflows.

**Qualifications**
- 5+ years in IT operations, cloud service delivery, or project management (AWS experience preferred).
- Strong knowledge of AWS Control Tower, AWS Organizations, IAM, networking, and security services.
- Familiarity with CIS Benchmarks, AWS Well-Architected Framework, and security best practices.
- Hands-on exposure to Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Strong communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect (or other relevant AWS certifications) is a plus.
