Material Scientist

The R&D Material Scientist will be responsible for identifying, selecting, modifying, testing and evaluating materials, developing sintering processes for porous materials, conducting failure analysis of filters and supporting open innovation projects.

Key responsibilities:
- Remain up to date on material research pertinent to 3D printing and porous material development.- Manage all aspects of material development (including research, design, formulation and failure analysis).- Characterization of material properties (mechanical, thermal, chemical, etc.).- Contribute to the strategy for porous material development.- Contribute to the technology transfer from lab to production environment.- Conduct proof of concept experiments for new materials and create R&D reports on results- Support operations with problem solving.- Interfacing with other research institutions for sponsored research.- Promote problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset.

**Requirements**:
- Bachelor Degree in Material Science with min 4-5 years of relevant work experience- Experience in material analysis for inorganic material such as ceramics and metal- Proficiency in MS Suites and Minitab- Ability to effectively communicate experimental results, both verbal and written
