Singapore VDL Enabling Technologies Group (Singapore) Pte Ltd Full time

Provide cutting tools, jigs & fixtures design support using CAD software.
- Create CNC programs using 3D CAM software for all CNC machines as regard to efficient, productive, safe and profitable method of machining.
- Ensure CNC programs are sent out on schedule and provide urgent program support on revision change, testing, repair/rework and engraving.
- Determine optimal cutting tools and cutting parameters based on workpiece material and setup.
- Construct cutting tool assemblies in TDM software according to tool organization guidelines.
- Perform machine simulation for all CNC programs to ensure error-free machining prior to release.
- Create detailed and clear shop floor documentation such as machining setup sheet and tool list.
- Drive continual improvement on existing CNC program.
- Maintain revision, proper storage and quality control on programs, tool list, and setup sheet documentation.
- Handle workshop feedback and troubleshoot problems relating to CNC machining, programming and cutting tools.

**Requirements**:

- NITEC or Diploma in Mechanical/ Mechatronic Engineering
- Knowledge to use CAD software (Eg. AutoCAD/NX/Solidworks) to provide design support
- Knowledge to use CAM software (Eg. NX/SolidCAM) to provide CNC programming support
- Knowledge to use simulation software (Eg. Vericut)
- Knowledge on GD&T, able to read and interpret engineering drawings

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: $2,600.00 - $3,500.00 per month
