**Responsibilities**
- Familiarize with applicable COMPANY Specifications, NDT Drawings,International Codes & Standards and local regulatory requirements. This shall include but not limited to AWS, API, ASME, ASTM, ANSI, AS/NZS, DNVGL, EN,ISO, JIS and etc.
- Review all NDT procedures such RT, UT, MPI, DPI & PMI to ensure compliance to applicable COMPANY requirements and international codes & standards.
- Perform verification ultrasonic tests to size defects either in weldments (butt welds in plate, pipe, nozzle and node joints) or surface area of metallic parts internally or non intrusively.
- Update and verify the Extend of NDT requirement conducted complies with COMPANY specifications and requirements.
- Provide expert advices on matters pertaining to Ultrasonic Testing technique and equipment.
- Verify welding repairs and ensure appropriate NDT is being carried out.
- Monitor the completion of status on NDT joints in the NDT drawings for reference.
- Liaise with NDT focal point to verify efficiency of NDT activity to avoid RT & UT* backlog.
- Review NDT final documentation such as RT/UT*/MPI/DPI reports and RT film cataloguing prior handover to project completion.
