We are looking for an experienced Graphic Designer / Senior Graphic Designer to join our team and to assist, conceptualise, and execute graphic design projects to communicate effectively the brand story and identity to our community and customers.

To be successful in this role, you should have in-depth knowledge of graphic design, styles and layout techniques. You should also have experience executing marketing projects from conception to production, including websites, posters, EDM and product packaging to name a few.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ideate, conceptualise and execute the brand’s campaigns and branding consistently across all customer touch-points online and at our retail stores
- Ensure that graphic and visual elements of every campaign is executed in a timely manner

**Scope**:

- Working with the marketing team and brand founder on all elements of the graphic/visual design, branding and campaign projects, from conception to delivery and to execute in a timely manner
- Designing original pieces or work or illustrations that will keep the brand relevant and creative in the eyes of the consumer
- Assist the marketing team in photography and content creation on social media to achieve brand goals
- Provide art direction and creative direction at photoshoots, product development and ad-hoc projects or collaborations to ensure that the brand identity is consistent throughout all channels and touchpoints
- Refine images, fonts and layouts using graphic design software to ensure that the brand identity and branding is consistent throughout the brand’s touchpoints online, on social media and in-stores
- Reviewing and providing guidance to junior designers’, freelancers’ or interns’ work to ensure high quality and timely execution
- Generate creative ideas to portray concepts and advertise products/services
- Work with and assist our marketing/PR team to ideate and create creative and visually appealing press kits for campaign and project launches
- Establishes and implements a work order process through which design consultation can occur, specifications can be collected, and projects can be assigned and prioritised
- Ensures finished projects align with the brand and project requirements before the final artwork leaves the department for printing, production, delivery, and/or distribution.
- Maintains departmental equipment and supplies such as photography and props
- Be the main point of contact to vendors and partners and build win-win relationships with printers, factories and suppliers to ensure a smooth business relationship with the company
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and tools

**Required Skills/Abilities**:

- Excellent sense of design and aesthetic eye
- Thorough understanding of branding, typography, drawing, and lettering techniques.
- Proficient in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Understanding of, or ability to learn, art and print methods that relate to the organisation's product and packaging needs

**Education and Experience**:

- Diploma or Bachelors degree required; BFA in in Art, Graphic Arts, or related discipline highly preferred
- At least 4+ years in graphic design field
- Experience in e-commerce, retail or fashion industry a plus
- Experience in video content production and/or creation a plus
- Experience in photography a plus
