**WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR JOB DESCRIPTION**

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee and coordinate the daily warehousing activities. You will implement production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards and achieve the appropriate level of volume within time limits.

Ultimately, you should be able to ensure that daily operations meet and exceed daily performance expectations and to increase the company’s overall market share. To be successful as a warehouse Supervisor, you must be relatively fit and strong enough to lift boxes of products. A good warehouse Supervisor has excellent organizational skills.

**TYPICAL DUTIES**

**WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Achieving high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching, and assuring the quality of goods.

Ensure shipments’ and inventory transactions’ accuracy.

Maintain items records, documented necessary information, and utilize reports to project warehouse status. Record all received items in the computer system.

Inspect all orders being received and shipped, checking for damage, defective parts, and missing items.

Reports and returns damaged products.

Organize and maintain inventory and storage area.

Reports to HOD or management to alert them of any issues with shipping or receiving.

Identify areas of improvement and establish innovatively or adjust existing work procedures and practices.

Confer and coordinate activities with other departments.

**WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR REQUIREMENTS**:
DIPLOMA, GCE ‘N’ or ‘O’ Level or equivalent.

Proven work experience as a Warehouse Supervisor (Minimum 2-4 years prior experience).

Highly effective supervisory skills and techniques

Is detail-oriented and capable of noticing small errors on orders or defective aspects of products.

Excellent organizational skills.

Hands-on commitment to getting the job done.

Must be capable of managing time effectively and multi-tasking as necessary.

Demonstrates familiarity with all warehouse safety precautions and is able to observe these at all times.

Computer literacy.

Relative physical strength and stamina.

Able to start work immediately or on short notice

Computer literate, and proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel
