- We are seeking a talented Cloud/DevOps Engineer for a global client, in this role you will be responsible for administering cloud-based infrastructure deployment, maintaining security posture, monitoring computing resource utilization, and managing incident response. You will perform system administration activities in accordance with company policies and procedures, troubleshoot issues, and implement preventive actions to improve the overall system performance.**Responsibilities**:

- Manage cloud-based infrastructure deployment, including provisioning and de-provisioning of resources, user administration, network setup, backup and restore, and incident management.
- Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis to identify issues, and implement corrective/preventive actions.
- Create and maintain documentation and processes for troubleshooting, maintaining, and configuring systems.
- Ensure fiscal responsibility by operating within assigned budget.
- Support audit and infrastructure/network security scans, disaster recovery, and security-related drills.
- Build automation to improve development team's agility and implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Provide training or conduct talks to the cloud community within the company.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and deploy new technologies to reduce costs or improve operational efficiencies.
- May be required to work outside normal business hours.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.
- At least 3 years of IT experience with a minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in AWS Cloud.
- AWS Certified Solution Architect (Associate) preferred.
- Familiarity with infrastructure definition tools such as Cloud Formation and Terraform, and with YAML/JSON deployment templates.
- Advanced python/ansible scripting skills for provisioning and automating dynamic cloud infrastructure.
- Experience with Docker containerization and Kubernetes orchestration preferred.
- Strong analytical, project management, communications, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong knowledge in infrastructure areas such as virtual server technologies, networking, internet protocols, scripting & monitoring tools, and IT Security.
- Experience in API Management (AWS API Gateway, Tibco Mashery), Platform as a Service (OpenShift, Cloud Foundry), and DevOps are preferred.
