Standard BioTools is looking for **Production Planner II **, to join our Singapore Team.

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Perform and review weekly, monthly and quarterly **demand and supply analysis **. Highlight surplus, shortfall and initiate contingency plan. Present highlights in monthly SIOP meeting.
- Initiate and review weekly/monthly/quarterly **production plans/schedules **in response to changes and priority.

1. Create and manage release of **work orders **.

2. Develop production **schedule **to meet shipping dates

3. Expedite deliveries / operations to ensure **shipping commit **stays on track

4. Liaise with respective departments to monitor **delivery, stock movements & WIP.**
- Lead and coordinate cross functional team in addressing constraints in supply and managing projects related to productivity funnels. The responsibility includes organizing the team agenda, discussion, minutes of meeting and action item follow up.
- Initiate and plan **MRP (Material Requirement Planning buy plan) **and optimum inventory level. Meet inventory goal targets. Prepare quarterly buy-plan for approval. Initiate purchase requisition. Highlight shortfall, surplus and manage end of life and part transition.
- Create and maintain **new part number **and **engineering master route and BOM **in ERP.
- Manage **Capacity Requirement Planning (CRP) **. Maintain capacity table and perform capacity and constraint analysis.
- Manage and maintain **cost setup of products in ERP **.
- Play a supporting role in successful implementation, transition and automation of **ERP system **.
- Work with cross functional team on product life cycles**:cost reduction initiatives **, **new product **introduction **, **product obsoletion**:

- Work with logistic partners for **inbound and outbound shipments **.
- Liaise with internal customer and suppliers on product packaging and labelling. Maintain and update product packaging and labelling specification.
- Initiate **work process improvements **in day to day planning and execution.
- Any **other duties **as assigned by supervisor

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- Diploma or degree in engineering/ science, business administration, supply chain.
- Diploma, degree holders without working experience will be considered. 2 years of industry experience in high technology businesses is preferred.
- Experience in ERP system. Able to set-up and maintain ERP set-up.
- Mature, high level of initiative, hardworking, analytical & able to work independently
- Strong in communications, negotiations & presentation skills
- Good interpersonal skills and values teamwork.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft excel, good in writing macro and Microsoft word
- Good organizational skills and able to work in a fast-paced environment
