The Talent People is proud to partner with JSIT-PE, a government initiative aimed at strengthening Singapore’s Precision Engineering sector by addressing manpower challenges and fostering industry growth.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Create and modify **technical drawings**for custom cutting tools using **AutoCAD or similar CAD software**.
- Work with senior engineers to ensure drawings meet precision and quality standards.
- Learn to generate **CNC machine programs**using **ToolStudio or other CAM software**.
- Assist in optimizing machining programs to enhance tool performance and efficiency.
- Inspect **incoming cutting tools**for regrinding, identifying wear and regrind requirements for quotation.
- Support quality assurance processes to maintain high tooling standards.
- Prepare and manage **work orders, SOPs, and compliance documentation**for production.
- Maintain accurate **data entry**and records to support engineering and production analysis.
**Requirements**:
- Diploma in **Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering**or a related technical field (preferred but not required).
- Experience in **CAD design, manufacturing, engineering, or machining**is a plus, but not necessary.
- Willingness to **learn CNC programming and precision tooling concepts**(training provided).
- Strong **attention to detail, analytical skills, and technical mindset**.
