We are seeking a dedicated and organised Receiver and Inventory Supervisor to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient receipt, storage, and management of inventory items. Your primary goal will be to ensure accurate inventory levels, timely order processing, and proper documentation of incoming and outgoing goods.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Receive incoming shipment of goods, verifying quantities and quality against purchase orders, and invoices.

2. Inspect and record any damaged or defective items, initiating appropriate actions such as returns or replacements.

3. Organise and maintain inventory storage areas for easy access and efficient space utilisation.

4. Collaborate with purchasing and logistics team to coordinate timely movement of inventory and supplies.

5. Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies to ensure accuracy and completeness.

6. Prepare and process orders for outbound shipments, ensuring accurate picking, packing and labelling.

7. Monitor inventory levels and reorder points to prevent stock-outs and overstock situations.

8. Implement and enforce inventory control procedures to minimise shrinkage and loss.

9. Train and supervise the purchasing team, providing guidance, feedback and support.

10. Generate and analyse reports on inventory metrics, such as turnover rate, aging stock, and lead times.

11. Collaborate with other departments to improve overall supply chain efficiency and accuracy.

12. Assist in identifying process improvement opportunities and contribute to the development of best practices.

13. Maintain a safe and organised work environment, adhering to company health and safety guidelines.

**Qualifications**:

- Degree or diploma in relevant disciplines, additional certification and food-related inventory management experience is a plus.
- Proven experience in inventory management, receiving, or related field.
- Strong computer skills, Microsoft Excel is a must. Proficiency in inventory management software is a plus.
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for accuracy and quality.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead a team.
- Physical stamina to lift, carry, and move inventory items as required.
- Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and best practices.
