Reporting to the General Manager and primary responsibility is ensuring departmental effectiveness by providing leadership for the department operational function.

Monitor KPI reporting for the department and ensuring optimized utilization of resources.
- **Responsibilities**:_
- Supervise the work of the Supply Chain Department and train personnel in roles or responsibilities regarding global logistics strategies.
- Handle technical details relating to possibly international transportation, such as customs regulations and any necessary documentation. Monitor and making sure import or export processes is in compliance with regulatory or legal requirements.
- Efficiently evaluate/negotiate the costs of transportation, services and inventory within any budget or distribution strategy. Ensure achievement of cost, productivity, accuracy, or timeliness objectives.
- Maintain metrics, reports, process documentation of the organization international freight movement and adhere to specific customer requirements, such as internal reporting or customized transportation metrics.
- Manage import/export legislation and must be able to effectively troubleshoot any issues that may arise in international freight transportation. Resolve all issues related to transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports and /or customer queries.
- Establish or monitor specific supply chain-based performance measurement systems. Maintain and improve in any possible way on policies or procedures for logistics activities.
- In charge of tender bidding process including the groups level. Leading various respective HODs/ Department to prepare and deliver the tender documentation required as per schedule given.
- Participate in carrier/vendor management processes, such as selection, qualification, or performance evaluation with strategic sourcing representative. Ensure carrier compliance with company policies or procedures for product transit or delivery.
- Design models for use in evaluating logistics programs or services. Recommend optimal transportation modes, routing, equipment, frequency and plan/implement improvements to internal or external logistics systems or processes.
- Analyze the financial impact of proposed logistics changes, such as routing, shipping modes, product volumes or mixes, or carriers.
- **Requirement**:_
- Minimum 5 years working experience in air and sea freight sector
- Strong background and at least 5 years work experience in Oil & Gas/ General Logistics Industries
- Minimum 3 years of managerial experience
- Excellent computer skills and proficient in excel, word and outlook. Others will be a plus
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Demonstrated leadership and vision in managing staff groups and major projects or initiatives
- Excels at operating in a fast pace, community environment
- Good knowledge of statutory/legislative rule and regulation
- Independent individual with good team player mindset
- Meticulous and detailed towards given tasks from the General Manager

**Salary**: $4,000.00 - $4,500.00 per month
