Our client, a leading financial services company, is looking to hire Information Security personnel. The incumbent will be responsible for maintaining information security guidelines and procedures for Asia region as well as managing the security processes to enhance the security environment according to the firms guidelines and standards and the local regulatory requirements in the respective Asia locations.

**Responsibilities:
- Perform second level defense threat and security monitoring, ensure the level of consistency; identify and report on potential threats in the threat landscape and to be in-line with local regulatory requirements.
- Establish, manage, and coordinate incident management process.
- Operate and maintain security infrastructure e.g. assessment scan tools
- Responsible to implement and conduct vulnerability scans and security baseline compliance check, work with technology colleagues to ensure the security requirements are met and technology risks are addressed and ensure compliance with information security standards
- Manage, coordinate, produce and follow up on the monthly report for the various security platform
- Identify and analyse suspected and actual breaches of security

**Requirements**:

- University or college degree or comparable
- Security related certification preferred
- Suitable experience in similar roles, preferable within the financial services industry
- Awareness of technologies including intrusion detection techniques, Internet security, encryption and digital certificate uses, firewall management.
