- Prepare contracts - purchase contract, sales contract, and addendum.
- Import Activities:

- Preferred to have experience in handling suppliers from the countries - Singapore, Indonesia, South Africa, Australia, USA. European countries etc.
- Responsible for direct interaction with global suppliers for discussing on draft LCs, negotiating/convincing to accept required conditions and opening the LCs. Sending shipping/documentary instructions to the suppliers.
- Following-up with suppliers for draft shipping documents, checking and confirming back to them. Validating purchase invoices received from the suppliers.
- Good knowledge on various formats and their importance of Certificate of Origin - viz FORM AI, E, D etc from Indonesia.
- Liaising with charterers for BL related matters. Good understanding on switch BL process.
- Export Activities:

- Preferred to have experience in handling trade documents for the countries - India, China, Vietnam, Korea, Thailand, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka etc.
- Issuing proforma invoice generated from SAP to buyers for arranging draft LCs. Must hold strong convincing ability on the draft LCs for having favourable conditions.
- Communicating with buyers for draft documentation.
- Ensuring export documents are presented to bank for clean presentation.
- Maintaining handy daily report for own work. Know to prepare MIS reports.
- Gained handful knowledge on trade finance and banking procedure.

**Requirements**:

- Dynamic, proactive, a good team player and troubleshooter.
- Ability to communicate and motivate well via high standards of written and verbal communication.
- Self-driven, result-orientated, and keen for new challenges, responsibility, and accountability.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and able to build good relationships with colleagues, customers, suppliers, and all other trade stake holders.
- Excellent understanding of international trade contracts.
- Comprehensive knowledge of procedures related to importing and exporting, proficient in documentation process including international shipping, commercial and marine insurance terms. Knowledge of various coal index reports.
- Adroit at terms and conditions of Letter of Credit(LC), various formats and UCP and ISBP.
- Good knowledge of SAP.
