The Associate Director, Investment Banking is responsible for preparing materials for origination efforts as well as executing live transactions. These transactions would include deals in the ECM or M&A space such as IPOs, private placements, rights issues, private capital fundraising, take-privates, etc.

Key activities include presenting findings of research and analysis, due diligence, financial modelling, valuation, assisting with administrative duties (e.g. roadshows, printing reports etc.), as well as preparing documentation relating to various internal and external processes.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS**:

- Transaction Execution: Assist in conducting due diligence, financial modeling, market analysis, and transaction document preparation to ensure smooth execution of IBD transactions.
- Project Management: Coordinate various internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely completion of projects, including managing project timelines, deliverables, and resources.
- Deal Origination: Collaborate with local and home teams in deal origination, explore and facilitate transaction opportunities by making full use of various resources in firm.
- Client Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, understand their needs, and provide professional advice and solutions.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS**:

- Must have some Investment Banking experience (ideally 7-8 years) preferably in SE Asia.
- Strong analytical skills coupled with the ability to devise creative solutions to problems.
- Ability to read, write and speak Business Mandarin will be a strong plus.
- A diligent, responsible person who is eager to learn.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- High degree of integrity.
- Self-motivated and able to operate independently, drawing from previous transaction experience to hit the ground running.
- Ability to take the initiative.
