Senior/staff Quality Engineer

Responsible for DPSS Product Quality improvement activities
- Handle customer feedback/complaints and field failures with Service organization
- Responsible for Cost of Poor Quality KPI reporting (Manufacturing Scrap Cost, Warranty and Out-of-Box Quality)
- Drive Continual Improvement projects with cross-functional team
- Participate in New Product Transfer activities and support the new product and process qualification activities
- Support internal and external audits by Corporate Quality, Customers and 3rd Party Certification bodies in accordance to ISO9001 and ISO13485 requirements
- Support new supplier/material First Article (FAI) validation and qualification
- Establish Quality Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), Process & Quality Control Plan (PQCP) and conduct process compliance audit
- Work with Manufacturing Engineer to implement effective process control plans for Critical-to-Quality (CTQ) processes
- Drive timely quality issue escalation and resolution relating to supplier, process and customer feedbacks through effective CAPA process
- Maintain and ensure effective implementation of the Quality Management Systems in the organization
- Participate in MRB meetings to ensure timely disposition of non-conformance materials

Education and Work Experience:

- Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Product Quality Engineering preferably with a hands-on experience in Manufacturing, Process and Quality Controls
- Certified ISO lead auditor with working knowledge in ISO9001 and ISO13485 will be an advantage
- Strong problem solving skills and excellent knowledge in Six Sigma DMAIC approach, Lean principles, Kaizen, SPC, FMEA, GR&R and other quality improvement tools. Certified Six Sigma Green or Black Belt will be an advantage
- Excellent interpersonal skills with good verbal and written communication skills. Capable of interacting effectively with people of all levels
- Self-directed and able to work independently with little or no direct supervision
