Buyer Trader

Responsibilities
- Profit from sequential meat trading (primarily chicken, swine, beef and mutton)
- Maintain relationships with frozen meat producers/suppliers and develop new product lines for chicken, pork, beef, and other meats, among other things.
- Transfer existing frozen meat customer relationships while actively seeking new ones from FMCG, meat foods manufacturers, wholesalers, supermarkets, and importers, to name a few.
- Stay current on meat pricing, markets, movements, and supply/demand pressures to capitalize on trading opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams on hedging, risk management, and operational issues.
- Maintain operational expertise with internal and external logistics personnel.

**Requirements**:

- 6+ years of experience in a back-to-back frozen meat trading position (chicken/pork/beef/mutton) on the assigned geography
- Supplier and customer portfolio in the chicken/pork/beef/mutton trading space
- Shipping knowledge
- Thorough understanding of the global meat trading landscape
- A desire to establish a profitable personal meat trading desk in a growing company
- Ability to travel to Asia for customer and supplier meetings, as well as to the company's headquarters (Singapore)
- Working Location: Buroh Lane
- Working Time: Monday to Friday 8.30am-5.30pm
