Job Descriptions:

- Manage and lead the teams in Singapore and China to ensure accuracy and timeliness of monthly closing
- Set up processes to strengthen the internal controls and improving existing accounting process
- To manually prepare monthly management financial reports, accounting and intercompany schedules
- Manual reconciliation of inventory records on Deskera and excel to ensure its accuracy and consistency
- Coordinate and liaison with tax, external auditor and corporate secretarial agents to ensure timely submissions of GST, statutory reporting and filing
- To ensure payment requests are properly authorised and supported before payment
- To serve as a backup executor of Precious Metals transactions & FX transactions on trading platform.
- To prepare P&L reports for each precious metal/ forex hedging transaction
- To perform backroom operations to tally traders’ transactions/positions with trading platform’s records and produce daily P&L and to monitor traders’ trading activities are within agreed trading limits

Job Requirements:

- At least Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent professional qualifications.
- Minimum 3 years of managerial experience.
- At least 3 years audit experience before moving on to manufacturing companies will be most preferred
- Able and willing to do hands-on role in daily Finance Operations.
- Hands on in inventory accounting using excel are most preferred
- ERP implementation experience will be a plus
- Open-minded, strong problem-solving skills and meticulous
- Experience managing a team
- Willing to work in a small office environment.
