**Roles & Responsibilities**
**JOB SUMMARY**
The Supply Chain Assistant provide local / regional / worldwide customer service support through order fulfillment to ensure timely delivery of goods. This individual will also support business objectives, deliver high level of service & performance and engage customers, facilitating information flow and providing support to the order fulfillment process.
Coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between departments according to daily and weekly production schedules. Duties include reviewing production schedule and inventory levels, plan & purchase parts as per MRP plan and managing inventory control.
**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
**Order Fulfilment**
- Drive shipments through release of orders in ERP system & publish delivery schedule
- Collaborate with Account/Business Development team to address and resolve customer issues e.g. customer quotations, price
- Analyze & publish monthly / quarterly forecast for material/capacity planning purpose
- Timely update / maintenance of Customers’ Attributes & Sales Orders in ERP system
**Inventory Management**
- Data analysis and decision making to support raw material supply and finished goods demand
- Understand customer agreements as required to support the required material /FG stock
- Plan and purchase parts per MRP plan to meet customer deliveries in consideration of supplier lead time and MOQ
- Manage inventory control for FG, raw material & packaging and part End of Life and materials with close monitoring & attention to aging inventory until depletion i.e. no inventory exposure
- Prepare and maintain weekly and monthly inventory management reports
**JOB REQUIREMENTS**
- Diploma in Business or Supply Chain is preferred but not a must
- Minimum 1 year working experience, preferably in manufacturing environment
- Posses good analytical skills with an eye for details
- Familiar with MS Office such as Excel, Words & PowerPoint. Knowledge of Navision/SAP is an advantage
- Customer-focused with strong communication skills, both verbal & written
- An independent self-starter and a strong team player
