**Job Summary**

The Shipping Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the shipping operations of the company. This includes coordinating and optimizing the movement of goods, managing the relationships with shipping partners, and ensuring compliance with all shipping regulations and safety standards. The Shipping Operations Manager will also be responsible for monitoring and evaluating the performance of the shipping team, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing necessary changes to streamline operations and achieve efficiency.

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**
- Oversee shipping operations, including coordinating vessel bookings, managing shipping schedules, and ensuring timely delivery of goods.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate documentation and compliance with trade regulations and customs requirements.
- Manage relationships with shipping agents, freight forwarders, and other logistics service providers.
- Monitor and analyze shipping costs, identify opportunities for cost optimization, and implement effective strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures and performance metrics to monitor and improve shipping operations.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the shipping operations department.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and technological advancements to identify opportunities for improvement in shipping operations.
- Collaborate with other departments to support overall business objectives.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the management.

**Requirements**:
**Education and Work Experience**
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in shipping operations management, preferably in a multinational company.
- Experience in managing shipping operations in the manufacturing or industrial sector is highly desirable.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.

- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
