About the team
- The team is responsible for assessing new opportunities in the Financial Crime and Compliance space. building prototypes, running agile proof of concept initiatives and ultimately de-risk and accelerate product build for successful concepts. All work is carried out through collaboration across functions, disciplines and locations. The technical team currently has a presence in London and Paris and is now expanding to Singapore.

Profile
- Degree educated with strong analytical skills
High personal integrity
Strong English communication skills, including technical presentations
Self-motivated and results-oriented
Collaborative, team player but able to work autonomously
Ability to work in a flexible, hyper-agile context
Proficiency in multiple languages a plus
Commercial experience in Banking, Insurance, FinTech or RegTech sectors a plus

Required Qualifications
- BS Engineering/Computer Science
AWS or Azure certification a plus

Required Skills and Experience
- 5 years development experience (mix of back-end and front-end)
React and/or Vue.js, JavaScript
Java and/or.NET (either C# or F#)
Experience using Docker
Solid experience with either MariaDB, MySQL, MS SQL, PostgreSQL
Familiarity with / working knowledge of AWS and/or Azure
Familiarity with micro-services architectures and REST APIs
Familiarity with automated testing, CI/CD frameworks and practices

Experience with any of the following a plus:

- MongoDB

Kafka
Memcached and/or Redis
Graph databases
Hadoop, HDFS, Spark
