We are hiring a driven and passionate leader to push market growth as a Regional Sales Manager based in our Regional Headquarter in Singapore.
**Job overview**:
- The core role and responsibilities of Senior Accountant include maintaining the full set of financial accounts of the Singapore office and the representative / branch offices in Asia. The Senior Accountant is also responsible for preparing the required information for reporting needs as per HQ requirement and deadline which include reconciliation of all inter-companies. He/ she will play a key role in managing complete accounting activities, Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable, Management Information System, claim and reimbursements, Bank Guarantee, Letter of Credit, Goods & Services Tax, corporate tax, excise, forex/multi-currency transaction. At the same time to support and coordinate with sales, service, order fulfillment and other supporting departments for finance and accounts related activities.
**Responsibilities**:
- Manage and responsible for all daily operational accounting activities and prepare all relevant accounts / balance sheet schedule as required.
- Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures and all financial reporting deadlines are met.
- Approving and signing of sales / purchase invoices, debit / credit notes prepared by Order fulfilment Dept.
- Approve and signing of claims submitted.
- Review all accounting entries in the Zoho system including but not limiting to sales / purchases, debit / credit notes, bank receipts and payments and journals.
- Ensure bank and petty cash listing submitted by all representative offices are in order and recorded in financial reports.
- Assist the preparation of budget as per ZwickRoell Group.
- Financial audit preparation (including consolidation package) and audit process coordination.
- Prepare statement of accounts for all agents and partners.
- Process suppliers, freight and commission payable.
- Update, extract and monitor the movement of inventories for machines and spare parts including stock take.
- Active accounts receivable and accounts payable management.
- Prepare month
- / year-end journal entries and ensure a timely month
- / year-end closing.
- Reconciliation, confirmation and follow-up of intercompany transactions and balances of all related group members.
- Responsible for the monthly management reporting inclusive analysis.
- Assist the Regional CFO in special projects and tasks.
**Your profile**:
**Education**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Finance
**Experience**
- More than 8 years of working experience in finance and / or audit.
- Working experience in financial systems and budgets, financial reporting, financial data analysis, auditing, taxation, group consolidation.
**Requirements**:
- Knowledge of accepted accounting practices and principles.
- Strong conceptual and analytical abilities with a good eye for details.
- Knowledge of auditing practices and principles.
- Knowledge of applicable laws, codes and regulations.
- Knowledge in German GAAP would be advantageous.
- Able to multi-task in a small team.
- Native or bilingual proficiency in English is a must.
- Professional working proficiency in Korean, Bahasa Indonesia, Mandarin or German is an advantage
- Good business acumen.
- Proficient in Excel analysis (formulas, pivots).
- Knowledge of Lucanet reporting software and Zoho accounting software would be an added advantage.
