Our client is a leading international bank with worldwide presence. An opportunity has arisen for an energetic and resourceful Loan/Credit Administration specialist to join their desk in Singapore.

This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of corporate loan processes from initiation to completion, including but not limited to, setting up new loan facilities, disbursements, rollovers, and monitoring repayments.

Working as a team, you will be instrumental in the following tasks:

- Efficiently manage and execute loan administration tasks while maintaining high control and operational standards.
- Prioritize and review legal documents for new loan transactions and manage the administration post-transaction.
- Safeguard and manage the movement of legal loan documents in compliance with the bank’s protocols.
- Ensure timely and accurate regulatory and internal reporting, adhering to both external regulations and internal guidelines.
- Address and respond to queries from both internal teams and external clients promptly.
- Contribute to audit activities, including audit confirmations and support for both internal and external audits.
- Assist in various change projects, enhancing business processes and system functionalities. Drive continuous process improvements to enhance efficiency, control, and quality of service.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, Accountancy, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years’ substantial experience in loan administration.
- Strong understanding of corporate/commercial banking products and related facilities.
- Familiarity with legal and technical terms in loan administration; proficiency in legal documentation is a plus.
- Well-versed in relevant banking regulations and laws.
- Strong analytical abilities and client-focused approach.
- Excellent team player, able to foster a collaborative team environment and manage stakeholder relationships.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively within a diverse organizational structure. Adaptability and curiosity, with a strong drive to learn and succeed.
