The intern will work with the Group Internal Audit team (GIA) on several projects.

**Group Internal Audit**

**Project Description**:
The intern will be required to:

- Conduct and conceptualise research on buzzing internal audit topics such as Sustainability, Cybersecurity and recent authoritative guidance changes introduced by the Institute of Internal Audit on the International Professional Practices Framework.
- Develop fit-for-purpose presentation materials and dashboards for reporting to Audit and Risk Committee as well as Senior Management.
- Analyse and migrate prior year audit findings onto new audit management system.
- Enhance and automate offline trackers to enhance monitoring and reporting.
- Design/build a dashboard to mine data from multiple data sources and present information for decision making.

Key project deliverables* include, but is not limited to:

- Research materials and discussions with GIA leadership.
- Presentation and dashboarding templates / visuals.
- Data migrated into new audit management system.
- Automation ideas and implementation (where feasible) for internal processes.
- *Project deliverable requirements may vary or rescoped accordingly. _

[What we are looking for]

**Requirements**:

- A self-starter who is passionate about improving internal audit processes.
- Ability to research well, engage external stakeholders and communicate effectively.
- A structured and organised person who is able to grasp internal audit fundamentals, clearly articulate and report key messages.
- Experience in creating visuals and dashboards for reporting to management.
- Possess an ability to think out of the box for new ideas and is enthusiastic about implementing them.
- Possess good knowledge and familiar working with power points and excel spreadsheets.
- Available for a minimum of 10 weeks.
- Preferred profile of Interns: Year 2 or 3, Accounting or Auditing students are most welcomed.

- Gain insights into progressive auditing and automation of audit processes.
- Sharpen ability to discuss important topics that are relevant in the industry.
- Strengthen the ability to summarise key internal audit issues, root causes, recommendations.
- Improve report writing, data analysis and documentation.
- Design data-driven solutions to enhance decision-making, streamline internal audit operations.
- Blend business acumen, tools and algorithms to discover potential insights to support recommendations.
- Collaborate with GIA team members to understand their needs/pain points.
