**What the role is**
- You will conceptualise and curate CDC programmes to meet community needs.
- You will guide and work closely with staff in the implementation of CDC programmes.
- You will work out budgets in accordance with plans, targets and objectives of the CDC and its Functional Committees.
- You will facilitate appointment and re-appointment, as well as engagement of CDC Members, to ensure active participation and involvement.
- You will provide guidance to staff on secretariat support to CDC members, including Functional Committee meetings and networking with partners.
- You will coach and ensure timely submission of papers and reports by the staff, i.e. Concept and budget papers, progress update reports, CDC programme post-mortem reports, Notes of Meetings, BSC reports, etc.

You will be part of the team at the South West Community Development Council (CDC) to implement programmes to promote a caring and cohesive community.

**What we are looking for**
- 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience in events management/organisation
- Good verbal and written communication skills
