The Finance & Business Analyst, SD APAC is responsible for supporting the design and implementation of business planning tools, analysis and reporting that provides the strategic framework for Finance analysis, pricing, inventory management and logistics.

**Responsibilities**:
Financial Management
- Support the implementation of new initiatives
- Owns APAC level financial consolidation (Dashboard, tracking, forecast, budget, risk & opportunities) & drives FP&A consolidation
- Supports finance teams on regular finance processes from a data perspective (closing, reporting, forecasting, financial modelling)
- Connect the dots between front end & back end data and provide recommendations to key stakeholders to drive optimize Business results
- Accountable for operating with a sense of urgency. Deliver timely reporting on the KPIs of the shopDisney APAC business
- Accountable for ensuring the team is operating within legal parameters

Business Data Management
- This role covers various data activities, which include data analysis, maintenance, data quality, and familiarity with RBI/SAP database architecture/design engineering in relation to operational finance, product, pricing and logistics data.
- Responsible for accurate and timely delivery of analytical & management reports/ dashboards within Microstrategy/ RBI /SAP system framework to the finance and business (product & logistics) organization.
- Ensure data integrity across our business and financial systems, ensuring our analysis is built on a foundation of accuracy
- Supports business teams to identify, triage, escalate and remediate data issues.
- Act as liaison between business stakeholders and RBI team to elicit, analyze, document, communicate and validate business requirements.
- Contribute to workflow or process change and redesign, and form a basic understanding of the specific product or process
- Aggregation and documentation of critical data elements/ process of data flows across systems

**Requirements**:

- Degree level education in a related field (Business/Finance/Statistics/Maths)
- Passionate about data analysis; financial and operational data, and getting things right
- Minimum 3-4 years proven experience in Business Analyst/ Data Analyst / Business Intelligence Analyst - developing dashboards, reports, mapping workflows within a finance function
- Experience in evaluating financial and business indicators
- Power BI, SAS, SQL, Tableau, Excel Pivot, or some sort of analytical tool reporting experience. Excel skills are a must.
- Data Lineage & Taxonomy exposure or concept knowledge. Business and/or Tech specifications experience
- Proven experience of building effective relationships, leading and managing change and collaboration across departments to achieve joint goals
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills, including data interrogation and manipulation
- Outstanding attention to detail, proof reading and checking large data sets
- Exceptional planning and organisation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate complex data and technical tools in a simple, easily understood manner
- Have high sense of energy and service orientation to meet deadlines in a fast moving & dynamic environment
