**What you'll do**:

- Working with designers and architects to ensure that buildings are designed with security in mind
- Conducting risk assessments by analysing data to identify vulnerabilities in security systems
- Coordinating security activities with other departments such as human resources, legal, facilities management, etc.
- Providing security documentation and other records as required by law or regulation
- Developing and implementing security policies, procedures, and training to prevent security incidents
- Maintaining a security awareness program by providing security training to employees on topics such as computer security, identity theft, and fraud prevention
- Developing a security plan for events such as public gatherings or construction projects
- Conducting investigations into possible security breaches or illegal activity
- Recommending security system upgrades to protect against new threats such as cyber attacks

**Qualifications**:

- 7 years+ experience in the Information security field in the Fintech and/or IT industry
- At least 3 years of experience as a security engineer who has worked on projects and created cybersecurity solutions
- A passion for both breaking and securing software
- knowledge of popular attack strategies and proficiency in performing penetration testing
- Proven track record in creating software security features such as session management, input validation, logging and monitoring, and access control
- Proven track record with CI/CD pipelines that automate security tests
- Working knowledge of SAST and DAST testing procedures and equipment
- Practical understanding of public-key and private-key cryptography
- Knowledge of methods for securing software against frequent attacks.
- Self-driven and inventive problem-solver who can function without much direction
- Outstanding capacity for cross-team collaboration
- Capacity to balance various conflicting priorities and exercise sound judgement while making decisions
