Job Title: Logistics Coordinator

**Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate and manage the transportation of goods from suppliers to distribution centers and customers.
- Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery, addressing any delays or issues that may arise.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory, shipments, and delivery schedules.
- Collaborate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure a seamless flow of goods and information.
- Optimize logistics processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency, while maintaining quality and safety standards.
- Handle customs and regulatory requirements for international shipments.
- Manage and evaluate the performance of transportation providers and negotiate contracts.
- Resolve transportation and logistics-related issues and provide timely solutions.
- Communicate with customers and internal teams to provide updates on shipment status and resolve inquiries.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including safety and environmental standards.
- Generate and analyze logistics reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business, or a related field. Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of supply chain, transportation, and logistics principles.
- Proficient in using logistics software and technology, such as transportation management systems (TMS) and inventory management software.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of customs regulations and international shipping processes is a plus.
- Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations in the logistics industry.
- Willingness to adapt to changing industry trends and technologies.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
