**Summary**

**Expectations**
- Lead the co-management of portfolio of monitoring and evaluation projects with a small number of primary client(s)
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team on a variety of projects related to the health, social and financial sector.
- Design, execute and lead all aspects of programme evaluation, including needs assessments, literature reviews and evidence synthesis, qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis, and report, presentation, and brief preparation.
- Manage projects, including interacting with stakeholders and helping to ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
- Independently manage a diverse and challenging workload with support and mentoring from senior colleagues.

**Required Qualifications**
- Degree in economics, politics, public policy or social sciences.
- Minimum 5 years work experience.
- Course transcript demonstrating high academic achievement as well as critical thinking and being multi-disciplinary.
- Strong and demonstrated commitment to rigorous and objective research and evaluation.
- Strong and demonstrated commitment to advancing impact in the Southeast Asia or Asia region.
- Previous experience with funding structures or management of a portfolio of programmes in the social, international development or philanthropic sector
- Strong writing and communications skills
- Relevant language skills and experience relevant to the Southeast Asia region preferred but not required.

**What Being Successful in the Role Looks Like**

A successful hire works independently co-managing a portfolio of programme evaluations through a primary client, building up RFI’s capability and relationships in this area. He or she harmoniously, and competently bridges between the primary client and other teammates within RFI to work on evaluation projects. He or she is willing to professionally express his or her own views, including challenging teammates, so as to arrive at a better project outcome. He or she willingly learns from others and also willingly shares knowledge with others. He or she fits into, supports, and builds up RFI’s positive and open work culture.
