Mixologist

**Overview**

Exceeds expectations by meeting and anticipating the wishes and needs of the guests and complies with CÉ LA VI’s standards & procedures to exceed both guests’ and colleagues’ expectations. Assists & supports other parts of CÉ LA VI operation.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Employee Engagement**
- Attends scheduled training, line up and daily briefing.
- Fosters and promotes a cooperative working environment to maximize productivity and increase colleague morale.

**Guest Engagement**
- Anticipates and meets the needs and unexpected wishes of every guest.
- Responds in a timely manner to guest reactions whenever required.
- Understands all guests’ needs and requirements.
- Collects and analyzes guest preferences and guest comment cards.
- Collects guest comment cards to improve productivity, product and service quality.

**Operation**
- Develops innovative beverage creations.
- Ensures that all standards and procedures for the operation are followed in the front and heart of the house set up before, during and after operation.
- Ensures cleanliness of all work areas at all times in the front and heart of the house.
- Identifies and eliminates defects which compromise standards & procedures.
- Complies with CÉ LA VI grooming standards.
- Completes work & side duties, opening & closing tasks for an effective restaurant & bar operation.
- Understands requirements and procedures for all meal periods to meet demand and maximize revenue and profit.
- Understands the food & beverage menu and daily specials.
- Understands the available promotions and events of the day.
- Assists to ensure the safety of colleagues and guests and the protection of company assets.

**Administration**
- Fills the daily log in regards to all inquiries and opportunities.
- Logs in & out for every shift worked.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**:

- Enjoys creating memorable experiences for guests.
- Food, wine & bar knowledge.
- Ability to flair & create new beverage concoctions.
- Proficient in spoken & written English. Ability to speak and write in a 2nd language is an advantage.
- Physically able to lift up to 10KG without assistance.

**Salary**: $2,800.00 - $3,500.00 per month
