**Job **Responsibilities**:

- Provide deep level support and act as the last level of technical escalation point for all production support activities within the Bank
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of best practices, standards, and knowledge base
- Provide operational excellence and skills on OS and system software to support various project phases (requirement gathering, design, procurement, implementation and hand-over to operations).
- Manage all technical activities and issue resolution of incidents and problems, where required
- Regularly review and fine tune the systems to ensure overall health and stability of the technical solutions within his/her scope
- Work with the Product Owners on the development of technology roadmaps and Application Teams on their adoption
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of best practices, standards, and knowledge base
- Review and implement programmes to drive the development of competency and skills of engineers
- Support audit and compliance activities
- Understanding of various development, testing and deployment tools -GIT/GITHUB, ANSIBLE,
- Troubleshoot and drive system recovery. Escalate problems with actual or potential major impact to problem management. Perform root cause analysis and ensure planned actions are carried out to prevent recurrence. Must be proactive and possess a sense of urgency during service recovery
- Review and approve change requests. Supervise execution for major change
- Overlook and Conduct performance analysis and tuning
- Automate system operation
- Track and drive patch management for all OS software. Track, plan and drive software upgrades to ensure continuous supportability.
- Establish adequate monitoring to ensure efficient and reliable service delivery
- Good knowledge on handling Middleware products (WAS/Weblogic/WMQ/IIB)
- Good Knowledge on DB2 and Oracle Databases.

**Job Requirenment**:

- Minimum 10 years of experience in Infrastructure platform (HW), Linux Platform (RedHat), Middleware Administration (Oracle, WebSphere, JBOSS, MQ) and Database Admin (Oracle, DB2, Mysql)
- Degree in IT, Computer or Engineering
- Minimum 10 years experience in an enterprise level environment.
- Have experience handling a team both onsite and off-site.
- Strong Knowledge with experience in RedHat, middleware and DB products.
- Experience in HCI and VMware server provisioning and administration
- Any certification will be added benefit
