Senior/Accountant, Finance-Academic Medicine
**Job Description**:
Reporting to the Manager, you will provide quality and timely financial services support to Principal Investigators (PI), Heads of Academic Programmes and Project Managers.
You will work closely with the project teams on financial reporting, funds transfer, Accounts Payables, budgeting, funds utilization tracking, financial analysis and assist PIs and Heads to meet strategic objectives.
Your role will include preparation of claims reports, work with internal department colleagues such as procurement, clinical departments, Development, etc on financial matters, address finance-related queries from sponsors, ensure proper governance that meets audit reviews, and assist PIs and Heads in their decision making.

Job Requirements
Degree in Accountancy, ACCA or equivalent with 2 to 5 years’ relevant experience
Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint tools
Knowledge of the SAP systems and experience in the healthcare industry will be an added advantage
Resourceful, analytical, independent and meticulous
Team player with strong communication skills and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
