The position is dedicated to advancing chiral optical materials through fundamental research and optoelectronic device development, with particular emphasis on innovative material systems such as metal halide perovskites. The research spans the complete development cycle from theoretical modeling and material design to device fabrication. The primary responsibilities include:
1. Investigating chiral photophysical mechanisms in materials to elucidate the correlation between spin-orbit coupling and circularly polarized luminescence, establishing structure-property relationships for chiral optical performance, and developing novel chiral optical materials with high dissymmetry factors.
2. Advancing chiral optoelectronic device development by improving solution-processed/vapor-phase deposition techniques, optimizing chiral ligand engineering and interface modification strategies, and achieving precise control over crystal orientation and helical nanostructures.
3. Perform device characterization and optimization using advanced spectroscopic techniques to evaluate photoluminescence characteristics, quantum coherence properties, and environmental stability.
Preference will be given to those with research experience in perovskite materials, expertise in crystal growth or nanofabrication technologies, and familiarity with optoelectronic device packaging and testing.
**Job Requirements**
1. Possess a Ph.D. degree in Photonics, Electronic Science and Technology, Optical Engineering or related fields with solid professional background in optical materials and device fabrication.
2. Have working experience and professional knowledge in quantum optics, semiconductor physics, photonics, and chiral optical materials.
3. Must master professional knowledge in the field of chiral optical materials.
4. Possess practical experience with numerical simulation software for quantum optical systems and semiconductor devices.
5. Proficient in nanofabrication techniques including electron beam lithography, inductively coupled plasma etching, electron-beam evaporation and related nano-processing technologies.
6. Have extensive characterization experience in photoluminescence spectroscopy, spectral analysis, coherence measurement, entanglement characterization and other relevant optical measurement techniques.
7. Demonstrate excellent analytical, problem-solving and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate in interdisciplinary teams.
