Product Sales Manager Components

Managing assigned customers, sales projects and complex tenders for long term component support to ensure the growth of Lufthansa Technik’s component business in Asia Pacific
- Leading projects, coordinating and handling of inquiries in cooperation with Group sales
- Calculation of business plans for component services, including MRO and pooling services, as well as transportation and other service elements in accordance with the commercial guidelines
- Ensuring alignment with all stakeholders, both internal (within the segment and Lufthansa Technik’s central functions in Asia Pacific and Germany) and external
- Drafting proposals to promotecomprehensive supply concepts to customers
- Attending customer visits which includes offer presentations and promotion of LHT’s component services
- Negotiation of contracts in accordance with business unit requirements, observing standards and processes of the segment’s fulfillment organization, commercial profitability and risk profile
- Ensuring the phase-in process, when a sales project transitions to fulfillment prior to the start of service
- Identifying improvement potential, developing measures for optimization jointly with internal business units to increase customer satisfaction
- Monitoring and analyzing of competitors and industry trends, initiation of required measures to protect and extend existing business
- Participating in marketing and customer events (e.g. conferences, exhibitions, etc.)
- All other duties as assigned or required
**Your Profile**
- University or technical college degree, preferably in Engineering or Business Administration
- Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience within Sales or Customer Relations (e.g. component services, material service or experience in technical customer service), preferably in the field of aviation maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) or similar technical services
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Knowledge of another Asian language or German is advantageous
- Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
- High degree of intercultural competency and strong understanding of Asian cultures
- Excellent customer service skills with customer-oriented attitude, and a strong ability to build close relationships with customers
- Like working with people, solving problems, and developing yourself by being challenged in your day-to-day work
- Ability and self-driven motivation to adapt and solve complex challenges and new ways of business
- Possess a strong character with the distinction to develop and drive business and customer relationships forwards
- Ability to represent Lufthansa Technik in a consistent and professional way
- Able to travel to Germany and extensively within Asia
