The position is in charge of assisting the Chartering team in the following areas:

- Coordinating all post fixture operations functions of the chartered ships fleet with various functions within global/regional teams, head office and shipowners, shipbrokers
- All financial matters (e.g., hire payments, off-hire claims, accounts finalization) of the chartered ships fleet should be coordinated with the accounting team.
- Work with the group’s operation desk and law experts to resolve litigation and contentious matters related to CP.

Key Accountabilities
- Gather all pre-delivery ship information for liaison with the team, such as time charter descriptions, certificates, plans/manuals, and questionnaires.
- To work with shipowners/shipbrokers to obtain bank account information and to coordinate with the accounting team in the setup of vendors for ship hire payments.
- Conducting surveys for On hire / Off hire when vessels are chartered into or out of the fleet, as well as for special purposes (investigative)
- Collaborate with the ship’s captain, shipowners/shipbrokers, and the teams on stevedore damage caused by Terminal stevedores.
- To monitor ship stoppages and work with the Accounting teams in off-hire claims in collaboration with Hazmat / global teams and shipowners/shipbrokers on loading of dangerous/hazardous cargoes
- To keep track of ship stoppages and collaborate with the accounting teams to submit off-hire claims to shipowners and shipbrokers.
- Collaborate with the team on extension or redelivery processes as the ship’s charter expires.
- To collaborate with the Bunker and Accounting teams on bunker supply quantities, as well as withhold hire payments for redelivery bunkers and ship owner expenses.
- Handle the documentation of sublets between group entities in internal IT systems under the supervision of the Commercial Operations Manager and the HO Chartering Manager.
