Freelance Football Coach

United World College South East Asia Dover Campus Activities Programme aims to discover and develop the potential in each and every student commensurate with ag e and ability in a wide range of activities.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Strong ability in delivering football programmes to students across grades 6 - 1 2 programme.
- Provide highest teaching standards - coaching methods and material should be up-to-date, ag e group relevant and ability appropriate.
- To think creatively to provide innovative lessons/sessions that will be engaging, fun and interesting
- To work collaboratively with students, colleagues and other UWCSEA team members.
- Break down the football topics into the language, drills, games and explanations students can understand and help them with preparing for games and competitions
- Conduct practices and drills to reinforce and evaluate abilities and skills and as appropriate customise and adjust to the individual needs and requirements of the students and teams
- Assist with any other duties, tasks or jobs with similar levels of responsibility and complexity to the assigned job grade as may be reasonably requested by the line manager and/or the College.

**Person Specifications**
- Preferred Relevant football qualifications and certificates
- Teaching experience would be advantageous
- Minimum of 3-5 years football coaching experience.
- Experience in delivering coaching programmes to students in a school or club environment.
- Well-organized and able to work with limited supervision
- Ability to collaborate with other staff members in the college
- To demonstrate a commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of students and members of the UWCSEA community.
- Professional Proficiency in leading students
- Eager to learn and try new ideas to improve student learning on football skills
