
Assistant Director Marketing

**Key Responsibilities include**:
- Oversee marketing and recruitment activities for MIM and MBA across assigned geographical locations.
- Plan and execute events strategy and budget management.
- Organise and execute physical and online events to ensure the promotion of the MIM and MBA programmes (e.g. fairs, information sessions, Masterclasses, targeted events, meeting prospects face to face or online). This also includes sourcing hosts and faculty, supervising event organization, ensuring sufficient alumni representation, sending follow up notes to participants, presenting and moderate at the events.
- Proactively contact leads assigned to convert them to applicants.
- Build relationships with alumni, corporates and individual prospects in the region and effectively leverage the local alumni community for recruitment purposes.
- Ensure a social media presence (e.g. via WeChat) by generating content (in local language) for and interact with target audience.
- Take the lead for some global recruitment activities or other related projects.
**What we are looking for**:
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in strategic recruitment / sales manager, with strong international sales / business development knowledge, with a proven business experience in APAC region.
- Excellent presentation skills and comfortable to run in-person or online presentations in front of an audience of Senior Executives.
- Ability to set priorities, plan and organize effectively.
- Strong experience of personalized high-touch sales with senior executives and companies.
- Strong diplomacy and communication skills and an ability to engage with a wide range of key internal and external stakeholders.
- Is a team player, and strong at building relationships with faculty, participants, alumni and business partners.
- Adaptable in a fast-changing global environment and able to quickly kick-start new initiatives.
- Have an open mindset to work in a culturally diverse team.
- Excellent command of English. Ability to speak another Asian language (e.g. Mandarin) is a strong plus.
- Flexibility to undertake frequent travels (about 30% of the time) and able to be flexible to attend events on weekends or after regular work hours.
