Group Finance Manager

COMPANY DESCRIPTION

**Listed on the Catalist board of the Singapore Exchange (SGX), Hyphens Group has a direct presence in Singapore (HQ), Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines, and is supplemented by a marketing and distribution network covering additional jurisdictions like Hong Kong, Myanmar, Brunei, Cambodia, Oman, Bangladesh, South Korea and China.**

**The Group’s core business comprises the following segments: Specialty Pharma Principals, Proprietary Brands, and Medical Hypermart and Digital. Besides marketing and selling a range of specialty pharmaceutical products in selected ASEAN countries through exclusive distributorship or licensing and supply agreements with brand principals mainly from Europe and the United States, the Group also develops, markets and sells its own proprietary range of dermatological products and health supplement products. In addition, the Group operates a medical hypermart for healthcare professionals, healthcare institutions and retail pharmacies, to supply pharmaceutical products and medical supplies.**

DESIGNATION : Group Finance Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES

**Finance**
- Accounting and tax reporting
- Timely and accurate submission of monthly financial & management
- Liaise with tax consultants on accurate and on-time preparation and submission of tax returns to the relevant authorities.
- Ensure that record keeping complies with legislative
- Liaise with external and internal
- Financial controls
- Accounts receivable management, including credit control, timely collection and credit insurance to minimise bad debts.
- Accounts payablemanagement and timely payment to
- Accurate inventory costing and recording.
- Ensure compliance with Group Finance
- Recommend internal controls and processes which can enhance operational and financial efficiency.
- Financial planning & analysis (FP&A)
- Analyse monthly actual performance compared to budget and reasons for
- Assist in the annual budgeting
- Treasury
- Liaise with bankers for utilisation of bank
- Effective cash flow management and minimise interest

**Business**
- Provide regular updates on business
- Support Business Heads in performance analysis and identify issues affecting achievement of business objectives.

***People management**
- Manage PMP Finance team, including recruiting, dismissing, coaching, training, motivating and counselling the team.
- Enforce HR policies, procedures and practices to the team.
- Perform staff appraisal on each team member.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Accountancy or ACCA with a recognised accounting qualification such as Chartered Accountant or Certified Public Accountant.
- Have at least 8+ years of progressive experience in the finance & accounting functions in a mid-sized corporation.
- Relevant industry experience and having worked with ERP systems such as Dynamics AX and Business Analytics such as Power BI will be advantageous.
- Good management skills and ability to lead by example.

OTHER INFORMATION
- This role is for a subsidiary in Hyphens.
- Assist the Financial Controller in the day to day running of PMP finance function and in Group consolidation.
- Responsible for PMP & DAC financial accounting, monitoring and reporting systems as well as effective working capital management to minimise cost and risk.
- Supporting PMP & DAC business units in management reporting, financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, reviewing operation performance and recommending improvements.
