**Department Overview**:
Specifically, the responsibilities of this role include:

- Work with technology partners (e.g., Solution Designers and Architects) to research and analyze current state system capabilities and define technology solutions, options, and recommendations.
- Engage intensively with business on various market risk management mandates and the new risk management approaches for TBSM to meet the reporting requirements.
- Define, document and translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications, taking into account non-functional requirements.
- Assist testing teams in translating requirements and use cases into test conditions and expected results for product, performance, user acceptance, and operational acceptance testing.
- Research and investigates defects / issues related to requirement / specifications.
- Identify and recommend opportunities to enhance productivity, effectiveness, and operational efficiency of the business unit and/or team
- Close collaboration with business and other members in TBSM Technology to ensure that the requirements are implemented according to Bank's SDLC development standard.

**Job Requirements**:

- 7+ years working as a Business Systems Analyst with progressively increasing responsibilities in the areas of requirements management on large and complex projects / programs
- Superior communication and presentation skills to peers, business partners and senior executives.
- Strength in developing effective relationships with different business units, portfolio and project managers.
- Advanced knowledge of system analysis process and techniques, as well as system components, functionality, interfaces, data flows and business rules.
- Experience coordinating and prioritizing multiple initiatives at once.
- Ability to construct process and workflow diagrams in tools such as Visio, PowerPoint or Confluence that articulate complex concepts in a succinct manner
- Ability to be assertive and challenge business stakeholders on their requirements if they expose risks to their existing systems
- Ability to be proactive and engaging with stakeholders to clarify ambiguous or incomplete business requirements
- Relevant experience in major financial institutions
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis using SQL and Excel
- 3+ years of experience with Agile development methodology and related tools (Confluence, Jira)

**Nice to have Skills**:

- Experience working with Tableau
- Knowledge of North American retail banking landscape
- Knowledge of corporate treasury concepts such as market risk, liquidity risk, funds transfer pricing
