The Head of Cloud Professional Services is responsible for leading and managing a team of professionals who provide consulting, implementation, and support services related to cloud technologies, encompassing both public and private cloud services.

This role involves overseeing project delivery, client relationships, the overall success of the cloud professional services department, and the management of Project Managers and Technical Service Managers. Familiarity with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Oracle Cloud, and Red Hat technologies is essential.

The position also requires engagement and collaboration with local partners and offshore development centers.

**Team Leadership**
- Lead and motivate a team of cloud architects, engineers, Project Managers, Technical Service Managers, and support staff.
- Set performance goals, provide feedback, and facilitate professional development.

**Client Engagement**
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government and private sector clients.
- Understand their cloud needs, and provide timely advise and delivery of solutions on time and not exceeding budget to exceed their expectations.

**Cloud Strategy**
- Develop and implement cloud strategies for clients, considering their specific compliance, security, and regulatory requirements for both public and private cloud environments.
- Provide guidance on cloud adoption, migration, and optimization across public and private cloud platforms.

**Project Management**
- Oversee project planning, execution, and delivery for cloud projects (public and private) to ensure they meet compliance and security standards, are on time, and within budget.
- Monitor project risks and implement mitigation strategies.

**Service Quality**
- Ensure high-quality service delivery and client satisfaction for cloud-related projects
- Establish and enforce cloud service standards and best practices, including compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., FedRAMP, MTCS for public cloud, and internal security standards for private cloud).

**Team Management**
- Manage Project Managers and Technical Service Managers, providing guidance and support in project execution and technical service delivery.
- Monitor and optimize resource allocation to ensure project success.

**Financial Management**
- Utilize financial experience to drive services revenue, improve margins, and enhance profitability for the cloud professional services department, covering both public and private cloud projects.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to achieve departmental goals.

**Cloud Practice Development**
- Leverage experience in developing and growing a cloud practice within the organization.
- Establish and execute strategies for expanding the cloud professional services offering.

**Technical Expertise**
- Stay updated with cloud technologies, trends, and best practices across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Oracle Cloud, Hashicorp and Red Hat technologies.
- Provide technical guidance and expertise to the team and clients for cloud solutions on these platforms.

**Technology Stack Expertise**
- Possess familiarity with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Oracle Cloud, and Red Hat technologies to ensure effective cloud solutions.

**Collaboration**
- Work closely with sales, product development, and other departments to ensure alignment and collaboration on cloud-related initiatives, whether public or private.
