**Responsibilities**:
**Accounting and Financial Management**:
- Lead a team to maintain accurate accounting records and ensure robust internal controls.
- Oversee all finance and accounting operations for timely monthly and year-end closings.
- Ensure accurate, timely financial and management reporting, including consolidation of group financial statements.
- Review and analyze monthly financial performance of group entities and implement necessary process improvements.
**Tax and Compliance**:
- Prepare and submit annual tax computations, corporate tax reports, and GST submissions.
- Coordinate the annual statutory audit and submissions of annual returns for group entities.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and corporate secretarial agents.
- Ensure compliance and timely submission of monthly CPF and tax filings for all employees.
**HR and Payroll Management**:
- Manage the monthly payroll process, salary reviews, and bonus payments aligned with staff performance.
- Liaise with government and statutory boards on all HR-related issues, including surveys and employee statistics.
- Oversee the full cycle of recruitment, from hiring to onboarding new employees, and conduct new employee orientations.
- Continuously review and update HR policies, procedures, and the company handbook to comply with labor legislation and business needs.
**Administrative Duties**:
- Co-manage office premises maintenance, including agreements, leasing, and usage.
- Participate in stock takes and fixed assets counts.
- Perform any other HR and administrative tasks as assigned by management.
**Requirements**:
**Qualifications**:
- Degree in Accounting or an equivalent professional qualification (ACCA/CPA).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance and accounting, including at least 3 years of experience in team management.
- Experience in the chemical manufacturing industry is a plus.
