Summary:
Responsibilities:

- Financial Oversight: Manage and oversee the accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor two Accounting Team Leads and provide guidance to an additional 8 Accountants through the Team Leads. Foster a collaborative and productive remote working environment.
- Data Management: Handle and analyze large volumes of financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and review financial statements and reports. Provide detailed financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Audit Coordination: Work closely with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Leverage prior audit experience to enhance audit processes and address any issues.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounting operations.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations, corporate policies, and accounting standards.
- Communication: Maintain effective communication with the Head of Finance and other key stakeholders to provide updates and address any issues.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as CPA, CA, or equivalent would be a plus.
- Approximately 7 - 10 years of experience in accounting, preferably including at least 2 years of audit experience.
- Proven experience in managing large volumes of financial data and ensuring data integrity.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a remote team.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
- Knowledge in Oracle Netsuite is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders
